They are erecting a new building in my neighborhood. I have a great view of the nearly finished construction from my Kitchen Window. When I saw the shrouded appendage placed with care on the top, I was sure the neighbors had finally come to their senses and erected a guillotine. Surely,as a kind of early Halloween celebration, they planned to cut off the tiny heads of the abominable school yard children next door who shriek & scream at the top of there lungs as if someone were about to kill them. I was horrified and sad as they uncovered the member in question, it was not the guillotine I was certain lay underneath.
People just don't celebrate the Holidays like they used to.
